MX-Q Review

MX-Q is a new app available for iOS devices that allows musicians to control their personal monitor mixing for various digital mixing consoles, including Midas M32 and M-AIR series, as well as Behringer X32 and X-AIR series.

With MX-Q, musicians have complete control over their monitor bus mix, whether it's mono or stereo, with the ability to access individual input channels. Additionally, the app allows users to group input channels into 4 Mix Control Association (MCA) wheels for easy control of multiple channels. This feature simplifies the process of adjusting individual monitor balance during performances, as each band member can customize their grouping preferences.

Setting up MX-Q is a breeze - simply connect your device to the same wireless network as the digital mixer. The app's start screen will display all available mixers on the network, making it easy to select the desired one. Once connected, MX-Q empowers every member of the band to take control of their own mix.

Requirements:

To use MX-Q, the digital mixer and the mobile devices must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
